Munnar in 3 Days

Places to be covered are - Cheeyappara water fall, Tea plantations, Eravikulam (Rajamala) Natioal Park, Echo Point, Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Top Station, Photo Point, Rose Garden, Sengulam dam and boating etc.


Day 1 in Munnar

Travel to Munnar via Neryamangalam & Adimali. Visit Cheyappara water fall and spend 30 minutes there. This is a very good view point too. Cheeyappara is a small water fall. It falls through 7 steps and originates from the forest. Then proceed to Munnar. Again on the way stop at photo point and time for some photo shoot. Then proceed further and visit the beautiful tea plantations of Munnar. Time for photography again and drop in the resort or hotel.


Day 2 in Munnar

On day two immediately after the breakfast visit echo point. Echo point is a place where we can hear own voice coming back to us in a few seconds after. Spend half an hour here and now travel to Eravikulam national park. It is 10 Kilometer from munnar town and on the way view of the un ending tea plantations on both the side. Reach the national park and buy the tickets for the safari. This Safari is offered by the Park authorities. Park is spread in 97 Square kilometer of area. The well landscaped park offer the visitor to the rare species mountain Goats, Bisor, Elephants etc.

Now time for lunch . Then visit rose garden. Spend half an house in the garden Proceed to tea museum to see the curing process of the Tea. Proceed to Mattupetty dam. Boating facility is there in the dam. By 3.30 travel to Top station. This is just 30 kilometer from munnar town and as the name says it is just the top of munnar. From here there is a clear view of the neighboring district of theni. Spend 1 hour and come back through the curve road. Reach the resort by 6 PM and stay


Day 3 in Munnar

On day 3 depends your next destination visit the sengulam dam. There is a boating available here from the private tour operators. This boat will take you towards the forest area and view of wild animals like elephant and bison.
