Munnar is the highest peak of south india with Anamudi, located 2695 meter from the sea level. Due to the height from the sea level and with its rare flora and forest cover the weather is very chilling throughout the year. The British founded Munnar as the best place for Tea Plantation and planted Tea here. Munnar is spread in 560 square Kilometer area.
