KARIMEEN FRY (PEARL SPOT FISH)

This is a rarely scene fish in Kerala backwaters. It is regarded as the tastiest fish in Kerala. Though it has full of thorns, it tastes differently. KARIMEEN (PEARL SPOT) is scene in fresh waters of Kumarakom and Alleppey backwater. The normal size of a fish is from 300 gram to 1 KG. You will get KARIMEEN throughout Kerala restaurants, but the best one in Kumarakom and Alleppey region. You must taste this if you are a non-vegetarian. The cost of the same will be from Rs.200/- to Rs.600/- depends on the size.
